Author and photographer Jared Smith has a passion for all things Eastern Sierra. A passion for fishing, hiking, backpacking and of course photography are the activities which originally drew him to the high country. To Jared, the beauty of the Sierra Nevada range is rivaled few places on earth. Over the past decade Jared has captured images of the epic scenery the area has to offer. He is currently the GM of Parchers Resort and South Lake Landing in the Bishop Creek Canyon high country where he resides six months of the year. It is this blessing of living among the peaks and pines of the Eastern Sierra that allows him the freedom and opportunity to capture images of vistas most visitors have only heard about.
